Director @ Wildsparq - B2B SaaS Company
"I interviewed several agencies to take on this project, but Sam and Breaking B2B were really the ones who seemed to get it. The end result is something that I'm really proud of. It’s great content, it sounds like our brand voice, it’s thorough, it’s well researched, and I’m really happy with the results. In the first 30 days, we were indexed on page one for people who were searching for alternatives to our competitors. I couldn’t recommend them enough for SEO, CRO, hosting, & managing your website".
Introducing the old school mixed with new school B2B SEO keyword research.
We start off by identifying what target clients search on Google when ready to have a sales conversation (commercial keywords) and prioritise these.
In SaaS these are often keywords like 'best [category] tool/software' or '[competitor] alternatives' or '[offer] for [sector/persona you serve]' and various others.
For B2B service companies it could be '[offer] company' or location based services might be '[offer] company in [location served' or for industries you serve it could be '[service] for [industry/persona]'
New school keyword research: We'd also want to leverage customer research for any problem focused searches, jobs to be done searches, common requests on sales calls (some of these have low search volume but if mentioned a lot can capture high intent leads).
Once high intent keywords are exhausted...
We then look at middle and top of funnel searches e.g. 'how to [job to be done for your client]' and build out articles to attack juicy problems/niche queries than can drive relevant traffic and get prospects into your ecosystem e.g. to download lead magnet, check your podcast, sign up for webinar or email list etc.
We regularly recommend new keyword ideas throughout our SEO campaigns to keep relevant traffic and leads coming your way.
Once we agree on initial keywords we can then map out the pages that either need to be built for each focus keyword (prioritising the commercial intent ones) or utilising existing site pages where relevant.
We then build briefs for pages or can help build out the full content for each to build trust with, resonate and convert focus clients. And help with design/development to build out the website pages/articles.
We look at any pages that are ranking 11-50 organically on Google that fit your focus keywords we've identified.
Our off page work includes building quality backlinks from relevant sites that fit your niche:
We have regular comms via email and on zoom/video calls for updates and our plan for each month.

How We Helped:
B2B SEO is the practice of getting your B2B website to the top of Google's organic (non paid) search results. Most B2B companies invest in SEO to grow their organic ranking, website traffic, qualified sales leads and build mindshare for their market and target clients.
We'd recommend having a good understanding of your ideal client profile along with the main industries you want to serve (helps us with nailing down focus keywords and building out content). Knowing your focus clients pain points and key goals is a bonus too.
A crucial must-have is a solid website that clearly shares:
We often start with niche focused keywords relevant to specific target clients searching and needing your offering now. In some cases we can rank these well within the first 90 days and start driving leads from SEO. More generic search terms can take longer. We'd need to do an assessment of your website, target market, competitors and then can provide recommendations and expectations.
We have a handpicked team of specialist writers. Many clients use us to build out in-depth E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority and Trust) focused copy for their key website pages along with articles. For some teams with in-house writers, we create guidelines, detailed briefs and roadmaps.
No. Some clients work with us on one-time campaigns e.g. 90 day sprints based on clear deliverables. Many do renew after the impact we provide on organic rankings, traffic and leads :)
Whilst B2B SEO works well for many companies, if your business is in a new category where people aren't searching for your offer or the problems you fix (because they don't know it exists) - then SEO may not be the best move. You may want to market on channels your focus clients hang out on. That said, many industries and solutions are know and we can help you identify if the demand is available to capture to make B2B SEO a top inbound lead and revenue driver for your business,
You sure can. You'll need at the minimum a technical SEO, niche specialised content writer and a web developer (around $64k at least per specialist X 3 team members).
Our B2B SEO plans start from $48k/year so you'd likely make a fair saving compared to hiring in-house.
Yes for most campaigns we do. We have partnerships with a range of trusted niche focused websites we can tap into to build solid links for your site and ramp up your site authority. We can assist with both link acquisition and building out quality articles for the link placements.
You only need to scroll on your LinkedIn feed and you'll see someone saying another channel is dead or dying. The truth is, many people use Google when they need a solution, have a problem to fix, are comparing options, or have questions on your niche. If your website can show up top consistently - you have a solid chance to capture the traffic and convert the lead.
We research what your dream clients are searching for when they are ready to have a sales conversation for your solution. And we start with that for our keyword and page content focus. This often means building out solution, service, integration, industry, sector, feature pages etc. (to capture high intent, bottom of the funnel traffic). Only once this is fully exhausted do we move up the sales funnel to blog articles for prospects earlier in the sales funnel.
We focus on the keywords your ideal clients are searching for when they're ready to engage in a sales conversation. Our strategy begins with targeted keyword research and content creation, including solution-specific pages to capture high-intent, bottom-of-the-funnel traffic. We then expand to include service, integration, industry, sector, and feature pages. Once these are optimised, we shift to creating blog articles to attract prospects at earlier stages of the sales funnel.
Our B2B clients typically invest from $3k/month for an aggressive strategy. This includes full planning and analysis, regular keyword research, on-page SEO, content planning and creation each month, technical SEO, link building and a strategist on calls (who actually does the work).
Full funnel SEO starting with attracting prospects most likely to buy now.
Investing in B2B SEO allows you to build a sustainable ecosystem that generates leads even when you're not actively marketing.
By optimising your website for search engines, you can ensure that your website appears at the top when potential clients are looking to buy or have questions/problems related to your niche, solution, or offer.
This helps you capture qualified leads and fuel your inbound engine. With B2B SEO, you can have multiple organic traffic sources, ensuring a steady stream of leads for years to come.
Yes, B2B SEO can be a great fit for your B2B company, especially if you operate in a known sector where potential customers are actively searching for your products or services on Google.
Investing in SEO allows you to increase your online visibility and attract organic traffic to your website. It ultimately leads to increased brand awareness, more qualified leads, and higher conversions.
However, if you are in a brand new category or niche where people aren't searching for your offerings, it's better to focus on channels that educate and build trust where your target market hangs out.
Before investing in SEO, it is essential to have a fast-loading and mobile-friendly website that effectively engages visitors and clearly communicates how you can help solve their problems.
Your primary focus should be building trust, educating prospects, and converting them into inbound leads, calls, or demo requests.
We recommend a custom design that appeals to your ideal clients and uses copy and messaging that resonates with their goals and pain points, supported by clear call-to-actions.
While it is true that investing in Google ads can provide a faster route to the market, it is important to consider the long-term benefits of SEO. With Google ads, you are paying for every click, which can become costly over time.
On the other hand, SEO allows you to gradually increase your organic traffic for all the search terms you may be paying for with Google ads. As your SEO efforts improve, you can lower your ad spend while still generating inbound leads and revenue.
What’s more, SEO helps build brand awareness, reputation, and assists with demand generation campaigns by positioning your business at the top of organic search results.
If you don't invest in B2B SEO, your competitors will outrank you in organic search results, resulting in lost traffic, leads, mindshare and brand visibility. By neglecting strategic SEO, you risk missing out on valuable opportunities to connect with your target clients and establish industry authority.
